Tropical Vacation In Hangar

Who says you have to go to the tropics to enjoy a tropical vacation?
Open since 2004, Tropical Islands is an indoor resort, built inside a large aircraft hangar,
an hour’s drive from Berlin.

It’s a man-made micro-ecosystem complete with hundreds of species of plants, sandy beaches, crystal-clear waterfalls and even bird and insect sounds made by speakers disguised as boulders. It spreads over 5 million cubic meters and it is taller than the Statue of Liberty; when the sun shines outside, visitors can actually get a tan, thanks to the effect of the sunbeams penetrating the hangar’s transparent roof, even if the weather is freezing outside.

Amazing Antelope Canyon

Antelope Canyon is located near Page on Navajo Nation land, just outside Glen Canyon
National Recreation Area and close to AZ 98 a few miles east of town (at milepost 299).

Antelope Canyon is the most visited slot canyon in the Southwest, partly because it is
easily accessible and by far the most publicized, and also since it is extremely beautiful,
with just the right combination of depth, width, length, rock color and ambient light; many
other slot canyons are deeper, narrower or longer, and some have rock that is even more
colorful and sculptured, but here conditions are ideal.

The Temple of the Golden Pavilion, Kyoto Japan

Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion Temple) is the informal name of Rokuon-ji ( Deer Garden
Temple) in Kyoto, Japan. It was originally built in 1397 to serve as a retirement villa for
Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, as part of his estate then known as Kitayama. It was his son
who converted the building into a Zen temple of the Rinzai school. The temple was burned
down twice during the Onin War.
